Pumpkin Patch time!

This weekend a bunch of us got together to go to the Airlie Hills Pumpkin Patch! I look forward to going every year to pick pumpkins and go on hay rides and all that jazz.

Bridgette found Airlie Hills through a friend and really wanted to make a day trip out of it. So after a delicious (and super filling) breakfast at Byways Cafe, we drove our way down south!

The farm was super cute and had tons to do – definitely worth the trek! We rode the hay tractor ride, went down the pumpkin slide, raced adult size pedal-karts, completed the giant and never-ending corn maze, and then picked the perfect pumpkins! Basically we acted like we were five years old the entire day

Is it bad that I want to go to another pumpkin patch before Oct. 31?

Now I am so excited to carve my pumpkins on Thursday with Steven! We are doing a Timbers pumpkin, but are still looking for other ideas for the other one!

Side note: apparently Steven and I take the same photo every year. Now I think it’s tradition…

The good life, the good weekend

My weekend in photos. A very busy, successful weekend if I do say so myself!

From watching my Timbers play our hated rivals to birthdays to dinner dates to hiking. This weekend came and went so fast! It was the perfect, sun shining, still summer-almost fall weekend. I loved it.
